I would steer clear of Horizon fitness products. I had to order several parts for mine, several months later an additional part showed up (One I did not order). I checked my credit card and I was charged for it. I contacted the company and was told I would only receive a refund if I returned the part to them in new condition. They admitted it was their mistake but it took me nearly a month and a BBB complaint to get my card credited back. LOUSY customer service. If they have your credit card number it is apparently your fault and your job to remedy any mistakes they make. Management stands by this policy firmly. Their bad! You fix! or YOU pay!
Ditto what rd said above. We bought a very expensive $1200+ Horizon which we could never get to start. Returned within 3 days after considerable hassle to Dick's Sporting Goods. Took home and again spent hours of frustration putting together, but it did work...for about 3 months. It was a weird crap shoot. You never knew if it would start or not when you went to use it which makes for a very bad exercise routine. You cannot get service on it. Just google "Horizon treadmill" and you cannot find a place to return it or get service or even freelance repairman or even a complaint email address.
